On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me ...

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... Procurement in a Category Tree

Granted, this is a weak link to our industry and the season of goodwill, and whilst the gift of a category tree may not be on many lists for December 25th, it could be a valuable present to yourself in the New Year.

Are you using a Category Tree and the associated benefits and reports to maximise visibility of current spend, contracts and saving opportunities? The use of informed categorisation can enable better use of resource and planning...The gift that keeps on giving! Multi level classification can be used throughout the sourcing and contract award process to search for suppliers, align purchase requests, assist in collaboration, understand category spend and identify non-compliance.

Chorus please..... On the second day of Christmas Bravo gave to me... 2 process flows, 3 VRM’s, 4 magic quadrants (Bravo top right of course), 5(0,000) procurement professionals, 6(0) different countries, 7(00,000) Contract Awards, 8(,000) Advanced sourcing scenarios, 9 years of profitable growth, 10(,000) auctions run, 11 + 4 Offices worldwide, 12 monthly spend refresh.... and version 12.3 coming in January

Merry Christmas and best wishes for a successful 2014!
